Buenos Aires is the largest city and also the capital of Argentina. It is also the industrial and commercial center of the country. The name Buenos Aires comes from Santa Maria del Buen Aire, the seafarers patron saint.
Buenos Aires is located on the western shore of the estuary of the Río de la Plata, on the southeastern coast of the South American continent. Strongly influenced by European culture, Buenos Aires is often called the "Paris of South America". It is one of the most developed cities in South America and is famous for its cultural life.

Cordoba




Cordoba is with 1.3 million inhabitants the second largest city of Argentina. It lies just north of the geographical center of the country, is an industrial and cultural center, with one of the most important universities in the country, founded in 1613, the "Universidad Nacional de Córdoba". Cordoba has many historical monuments preserved from the times of colonialism, which makes the city very attractive for tourists.
If you compare Cordoba to Buenos Aires, the first one is cosier, which is positive for a short stay abroad. You have to do without any of them, though! In Argentina there are good bus companies, with comfortable coaches, serving all main town and villages and operating between Cordoba and Buenos Aires.
